1260786_laptop_workThe Community Education and Development Programme [CEDP] has launched a new website which allows for online registration for community school courses, and has a downloadable PDF of courses available.

With a full listing of courses divided by type, location and by instructor, the website is comprehensive and fairly easy to use.

CEDP offers a wide range of courses including accounting, aerobics, archery, art, boating, business, computers, cooking, dance, education, foreign languages, gardening, golf, journalism, knitting,  masonry, plumbing, photography, pottery, salsa, sewing, squash, tennis, tiling, yoga and much more.

Courses prices range from free up to $180, with most costing around $70. A credit/debit card and an active e-mail address are required to register on-line.

From Monday, April 5th through to Friday 16th April, 2010, all three Community Education and Development Programme offices, St. George’s, Hamilton and Warwick will facilitate on-line registration, for the first time. This service of delivery will add to the current signup methods of telephone, walk-in, fax, mail-in, and drop-off services.

In addition computers have been placed in each of the three Community Education office locations for the public to register online.

Minister of Culture and Social Rehabilitation Neletha Butterfield said:

This milestone is another among the many success stories that the Community Education and Development Programme team has accomplished in its history of thirty years of service to the public. Congratulations to them for their vision that will enable persons to register at their convenience.

We are proud to offer online registration for the CEDP Programme, as it allows for customer friendly and quality service as we meet the technological needs of our community. We believe everyone will be pleased with the look and feel of our revived and interactive website,
