Floating Bookstore Sails into Hamilton

Logos Hope, a ‘floating bookstore”, sailed into Hamilton Harbour today, having traveled from Nassau, Bahamas. The ship will be docked on Front Street and open to the public from tomorrow [April 13] to April 25th.

The Logos Hope carries thousands of books for sale onboard, and is will be open 10am – 9:30pm from Mon – Sat, and from 2pm – 9:30 pm on Sundays. Entrance is free.

The all volunteer crew compromises of crew from over 40 countries worldwide. The ship is a project of Operation Mobilisation [OM], an Evangelical Christian organization. Since 1970, OM’s ships have visited over 480 different ports in 158 countries and territories around the globe and over 40 million people have visited the ship with an average of 1 million visitors welcomed on board every year.

After leaving Bermuda, the ship will sail on to Antigua and Barbuda.
