At approximately just past midnight today [May 14] an altercation took place between three men at the Swizzle Inn Restaurant and Bar on South Shore Road in Warwick.

As a result the victim was stabbed in his back and also received a swollen right eye. He was taken to King Edward Memorial for treatment of his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.

This comes less then a week after a 20 year old man, also from Warwick, declined to tell Police how he received a stab wound, which resulted in him having his spleen removed.

The police say inquiries into these incidents are underway. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information about any of these incidents to contact 295-0011.
