Employment Report Shows Jobs Decline
The 2010 Bermuda Job Market Employment Briefs shows a decline in employment in Bermuda. There were 39,520 jobs counted in 2009 compared to 40,213 in 2008, a loss of almost 700 jobs. The construction and hotel industries have been hard hit, construction held 3,488 positions in 2009; a loss of 161 jobs [4% decline] from 3,649 jobs posted in 2008. Employment... Bermuda U/19 Cricket Squad Loses To Barbados
The Barbados Junior Cricket Squad bested the Bermuda Under 19s Squad by 38 runs at the 2010 Sir Garfield Sobers Tournament in Barbados.
