Two Men Charged With Firearm Offences

Two men were charged in Magistrates Court in connection with the alleged armed home invasion that occurred in St George’s on July 2nd.

Detroy Smith and teenager Wesley Stovell were charged with a number of counts including conspiracy to rob with a firearm, trespassing with a firearm, stealing and possessing a firearm. They were not required to enter a plea.

24 year old Detroy Smith, pictured, was arrested at the Cup Match trials cricket game between St George’s and St David’s on July 3rd.
