Photos: Beach Tennis Tournament
Teams from Italy won both the Men’s & Women’s Bermuda Beach Tennis Titles which were played at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Friday, August 27th. The tournament was due to be two-days long, however they changed it to a one-day tournament due to fears on increment weather. In the Ladies Final Italian Pair Veronicca Visani and Federica Bacchetta defeated their opponents from Brazil Samantha Barijan and Joana Cortez in straight sets 6 – 3, 6 – 3. The Men’s Final was an all Italian affair, with the defending champions Alex Mingozzi and Matteo Marighella went down in straight sets 7 – 5, 7 – 6 to Alessandro Calbucci and Michele Cappelletti
