Photos: Pre-Storm Surf At Horseshoe Bay

August 27, 2010

The ocean is starting to show signs of the winds of Hurricane Danielle as rougher seas and high waves can be seen this afternoon (Aug 27) at Horseshoe Bay Beach. Despite the Department of Park’s Lifeguard Service posting yellow warning flags at Horseshoe Bay, tourists and locals alike can be seen in the waters enjoying the surf. Hurricane Danielle is expected to pass approximately 230 nautical miles to the east of Bermuda tomorrow evening around 6.00 pm. The images below were taken at approximately 2pm today.
