Athene To Buy Liberty Life For $628 Million
Bermuda-based Athene Holding Ltd has signed an agreement to acquire Liberty Life Insurance Company, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Canada, for $628.1 million, which is less than Royal paid for the business a decade ago. Bermuda Now 170th in FIFA Rankings
In the latest FIFA rankings released yesterday [Oct 20], Bermuda has fallen to 170th in the world. Due to inactivity, the island dropped 7 places from the previous rankings. Kiera Aitken Wins Gold Medal in Spain
Bermuda’s Kiera Aitken has added yet another medal to her trophy case, picking up a Gold Medal in the 2010 Fund Styles Swim Meet in Barcelona, Spain.
