Note: E-News Signups Require Email Confirmation

October 24, 2010

As many of our readers are aware, we offer a free daily email containing all the posts over the last 24 hours, which is delivered at approximately 6am each morning, 7 days a week.

Signing up requires entering your email address, and then clicking on a confirmation email. As Bernews is internet based, this double opt-in ensures we do not violate anti-spam legislation that some international jurisdictions have in place.

One issue we are have is over 200 hundred people have signed up, who have not clicked the confirmation email, so they are not receiving the daily e-news. We have been approached about this a few times, however from our end can do nothing to assist.

To receive the emails readers must do two things – sign up and then click on the link sent to their email account. The confirmation email is sent approximately 30 seconds after signing up, so if you do not receive it – check your spam folder. If you have already signed up, but forgotten to click the confirmation link, you need to either search your emails to find it, or sign up again.

The sign-up form is below, and thanks to all our readers who have signed up thus far.
