November 30, 2010

Daystar_TVBermuda CableVision today [Nov 30] announces the addition of the Christian television network ‘Daystar‘ to its line-up.

Now available on CableVision’s Channel 146, Daystar is the world’s fastest-growing Christian television network. Daystar’s arrival in Bermuda marks another milestone in the network’s growing global presence, which today includes some 670 million homes in more than 200 countries worldwide.

The network does not focus on a single target or niche market, but instead uses a mix of multi-denominational and multi-cultural programming that is relevant for the entire family.

CableVision’s General Manager, Terry Roberson, says, “Whether on-air or online, the Daystar brand and message are always energetic and uplifting. Today, Daystar is the leading faith-based network for audiences in the 25-54 age bracket, with a diversity of programming that transcends borders and cultures. We are certain our viewers will enjoy this inspiring, positive new addition to our line-up.”

Senior Vice President of Affiliate Relations at Daystar, Steve Wilhite, says, “What a wonderful opportunity to bring Daystar Television Network to CableVision’s platform, with special thanks to Terry Roberson and his team for making it happen! Daystar brings to CableVision viewers award-winning programmes, exciting live events, music, and the most requested international ministry programs. Experience Daystar on CableVision!”

Daystar’s diverse blend of programming includes the popular ministry programmes of U.S. based church leaders the Reverends T.D. Jakes, Joyce Meyers, Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, and others, as well as international pastors such as The Reverend Matthew Ashimolowo of Nigeria, head of the largest Christian church in the U.K. today.

Daystar also features more live remote coverage of major Christian events and conferences around the world than any other television network. One such recent broadcast was “Team Impact: India”. In addition, Daystar brings viewers its own award-winning original programming, including the inspiring shows of Daystar founders, Marcus and Joni Lamb: “Celebration”; “Joni”; “Marcus Lamb Ministries”; music shows such as the youth-oriented “Check the Sound”; and “Gospel Music Showcase”.

    Nothing new here.

    Current offerings:
    TBN
    Adventist TV
    Three Angels
    Eternal Word
    Word Network
    Gospel Music

I’d call it news when Logo is on the line-up.

Televangelism is one of the biggest scams of all time – just another way of guilting believers into parting with their hard earned money on a supposed chance to go to heaven. Madoff by another name.

  3. John Q Public Esq. says:

Christianity: The belief that a certain cosmic Jewish zombie who was born of a virgin can make you live for ever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. Makes perfect sense really….
