This Saturday: Bermuda Feature on WealthTV
The episode of “Takeoff with Ashley Colburn” that was filmed in Bermuda earlier this year is scheduled to make its debut on Saturday, November 6, at 7pm on WealthTV. WealthTV can be seen on CableVision’s Channel 148. WealthTV HD is on Channel 435
Bermuda CableVision arranged the visit to Bermuda by WealthTV and, together with the Bermuda Department of Tourism, sponsored the May 23 to 28, 2010, visit. Bermuda CableVision General Manager Terry Roberson, says:
It’s exciting to know we will soon see the show that was created from the many hours of filming by WealthTV and show host Ashley Colburn, who sends her best to ‘beautiful Bermuda’. We are proud to support the Bermuda Department of Tourism by facilitating opportunities such as this to show off the many attractions of Bermuda to a very large international audience. At the same time, we hope that as many local residents as possible will watch the show and fall in love with Bermuda all over again.
During their visit WealthTV’s Ashley Colburn and her cast and crew spent several action-packed days with a full programme of activities. The group stayed at Tucker’s Point Hotel & Spa, which is prominently featured in the show. Tucker’s Point provided accommodations as well as a variety of activities for the group, including teaching Ashley Colburn to scuba dive and bringing her into the resort’s The Point restaurant to cook with award-winning executive chef Serge Bottelli.
The WealthTV visitors also attended the Bermuda Day parade on May 24; took off on a half-day fishing expedition with Captain Mike Jones; swam with the dolphins; saw the Crystal Caves; visited the Bermuda Maritime Museum and embarked on a sailing trip with Captain Anthony Mello.
