Video: Minister of Public Works

Deputy Premier Derrick Burgess, who carries the portfolio of Minister of Public Works, addressed the media after the Throne Speech on November 5th. Minister Burgess addressed various matters including the anmdWaste & Litter Control Act, illegal dumping, and drinking water availability.

The Minister also spoke on the new war memorial planned for the grounds of the Cabinet Office, which will encompass seven marble plaques engraved with the names of Bermuda residents who served. The names will be displayed on seven individual walls that will form a semicircle around a rolling ball water fountain resting on a granite base.
