Burglaries: Pitbulls, Alcohol, Cigarettes Stolen

Between yesterday morning [Dec 12] and today, the East Broadway Shell Service Station, Miles Market, Saltus Grammar School and a St George’s home were all broken into. Cash, cigarettes, bottled alcoholic beverages and three pitbulls have been reported as stolen from the various locations.

Around 6:20am this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at the East Broadway Shell Service Station in Pembroke. Sometime between 10pm last night, and 6am today a culprit broke in and stole a “quantity of cigarettes”.

Around 8:40pm last night Police received a report of a burglary at Miles Market in Pembroke. Police say it appears that around 8:30pm that day someone gained entry into the premises and stole a “quantity of bottled alcoholic beverages”.

Around 3pm last night, Police received a report of a burglary at an Anchorage View Lane, St. George’s residence. It appears that sometime between 10:30am and 11:45am that day someone removed three dogs from the home. The dogs are described as a golden coloured six year old female Pitbull and two Pitbull puppies, one black and the other brown in colour. Police are appealing for anyone with any information on the whereabouts of the three missing dogs to contact the Southside Police Station on 293-2222.

Around 6:55am on Sunday, Police received a report of a burglary at Saltus Grammar School in Pembroke. It appears that sometime earlier in the weekend someone gained entry into the senior school and stole a quantity of cash.

Inquiries into all incidents are underway.

    Read the Bernews report, and you would come to the conclusion that the female was sick and tired of the mental & physical abuse, decided to run off with her offsprings in that 45 minutes of opportunity (10:30am -11:15am). No burglary involved just tired. A good mother caring for the safety and protection of her children.
