Lisa Blackburn Picks up Three Wins
Top local swimmer Lisa Blackburn picked up three wins at the recently held Buffalo Star Invitational, with her converted times from this meet showing improved times from last year’s National Championships. Ms Blackburn will now be preparing to shift her racing to the long course meter pool. She will be attending several competitions on the US Grand Prix Swim Meet Series in the New Year with the goal of qualifying for the World LC Swimming Championships which will be held in Shanghai, China in July 2011.
Buffalo Star Invitational Results:
- 1st 100 breast
- 2nd 200 breast
- 5th 200 IM
- 1st B final 50 free (less than 15 minutes after her final swim in the 200 IM)
- 1st B final 100 free (less than 20 minutes after her final swim in the 200 Breast)
