Marshall & Alen Win Jingle Bell 5k Run

Lamont Marshall and Jennifer Alen won the 2010 BAC Kool Running 5K Jingle Bell Run held yesterday morning [Dec 19]. Runners got into the spirit of the Christmas season, with some donning non-traditional running attire to cover the 5k course.

Mr Marshall crossed the line in a time of 15:09, Stephen Allen was second in 16:58, while Christopher Harris finished third in 17:18. Ms Alen’s time of 19:22 saw her finish 13th overall, while Karen Smith finished 16th overall crossing the line as the second female finisher in 20:22 and Julia Hawley was the third female finisher with a time of 21:20, placing 23rd overall. Sheena Young was the first walker across the line in 34:30.
