Police Officers Donate Wish List Gifts

Yesterday afternoon (Dec 20), Police officers from the Somerset Police station donated Christmas gifts to a charitable drive spearheaded by Hott 1075′s ‘Miss Thang’. Speaking on behalf of the officers, Chief Inspector Tracy Adams said the officers were pleased to assist in the “endeavours to bring Christmas joy to youngsters who would otherwise have none.”

‘Miss Thang’, aka Kristy Burgess, runs the ‘Christmas Wish List’ each year, collecting gift donations for families in need across Bermuda. Dozens of children and families were nominated by Hott 1075  listeners that were aware of the family’s situation, and donations came in from individuals and groups across the island. The give-away is scheduled for Christmas Eve live on Hott 1075 at 3:00 p.m.
