Upcoming: Basketball Youth Camp
On January 6-8 2011, Bermuda Basketball Association [BBA] will host two day basketball camps focusing on the fundamentals of basketball for two separate age groups. Details are below:
Camp 1
- Age Group: 7-9 years [boys or girls]
- Dates: Jan 6th from 6:30 – 8:30 and Jan 8th from 9:00 – 11:00
- Location: BHS gym
Camp 2
- Age Group 10-13 years [boys or girls]
- Dates: Jan 7th from 6:30-8:45 and Jan 8th from 11:30-1:30
- Location: BHS gym
A BBA spokesperson said “Nephila Capital will sponsor the camp at no cost to kids, but we will have a donation box for BYSP at the front door and would ask that you consider small contribution to help all BYSP programs.”
“Unfortunately, we will need to limit the number of kids at each camp to 50 as we are limited on space and equipment. Thus, spaces will be granted in order of emailed confirmation of your child’s participation. We sincerely apologize for this process as we realize some folks are traveling for the holidays, but given the short amount of time we have to pull this all together, we really didn’t have any other option.”
“To confirm your child’s participation, please email his/her name and age and we will confirm your child’s space. We will keep a waiting list for the extra kids and alert them if there are any cancellations before the camp starts.”
