Bermuda Fuel Prices Increase In February

The Ministry of Finance has announced with effect from Wednesday [Feb. 16], the maximum prices of petroleum products will change as follows: Gasoline, +1 cent/litre, Diesel, +4.9 cents/litre, Kerosene, +6.1 cents/litre

As a consequence, the maximum retail prices displayed on the pumps for petroleum products are now: Gasoline, 192.90 cents/litre, Diesel, 179.90 cents/litre, Kerosene, 153.60 cents/litre

    Hang on tight. With the unrest in the Middle East the price of crude is bound to take a jump this year.

    Does Government tax fuel based on cost or volume? If it is cost we are in for locally generated fuel price rises on top of the base cost.
