    b b b but alcohol is worse…

  3. S says:

ya I think alcohol is legal in order to keep the population down and create more jobs … you dont here about someone killing someone from high driving or fighting someone because of the influence of weed ..

    • sandgrownan says:

      Here we go again…yawn…

    • itwasn't me says:

how about raping and killing your girlfriend cuz you’re having a psychotic moment due to several years of light recreational drug use.

      • UncleElvis says:

Any evidence of that, beyond anecdotal?

        • itwasn't me says:

you’re a smart guy uncle E…..no need 4 me to elaborate…you connect the dots

          • UncleElvis says:

            Nope.

There are no dots that I can see.

You seem to be in the know… how about providing the evidence of your accusation? If there is any.

Or is this just another opportunity to baselessly denounce marijuana?

            • itwasn't me says:

Accusations? Sorry but not from me chief. I only made a comment base on my observations. I have eyes and ears, don’t you?

              • UncleElvis says:

Actually, “how about raping and killing your girlfriend cuz you’re having a psychotic moment due to several years of light recreational drug use.” is, in fact an accusation.

You’ve provided NO evidence that a) he had a psychotic moment and b) it was brought on my “several years of light recreational drug use.”

What you said wasn’t an observation, it wasn’t worded as your opinion. You stated it like it was a fact.

I’m asking you to back it up. Why is it so hard to do that?

      • CanadianLuv says:

What kinna weed are you smoking?
bec it sounds like it was laced with coke..!
I have smoked weed since I was 16, run 2 businesses, have a degree & an MBA (and I am under 30)
I dislike how IGNORANT people are with weed VS alcohol.
        EDUCATE YOURSELF!

        • Grizz says:

well done for you CanadianLuv…tell them add that to their statistics! LOVE IT!

    • Truth says:

So because YOU never hear about it, it must never happen. Of course.

      • Nicki says:

I guess you’ve never been to parties with large groups of people smoking weed.

    • z says:

      i agree totally!

LEGALIZE MARIJUANA..GOD’S GIFT TO MANKIND…Let’s stop this concept on fooling the society that it is a DRUG…DRUGS are MANMADE…Marijuana IS(not should be) classified as a food, Herb is for the HEALING of our nation, Alcohol is DESTRUCTION. Psalm 104:14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man that he may bring forth food out of the earth, also Genesis 1:11 speaks on the “herb yielding SEED”….Free up the herbs and “Excuse me while I light my spliff good God I gotta take a lift”~Bob Marley~

    • Nicki says:

Righttttt and I bet you are in church every Sunday? Spliff in hand?

      • sandgrownan says:

Actually, if I went to church I’d probably want mind altering substances

      • Reality says:

The Kingdom of GOD lies within! Fiyabun ya opinion and wat you think. I’m commenting on the topic at hand!

        • Nicki says:

I don’t speak ebonics. Do you go to church or not? If not stop quoting the bible because you roll up marijuana, light it and smoke it.

      • Reality says:

and further more I have more respect to smoke with like-minded people! You on the other hand are one them come to Sunday worships and gossip for the remainder of the 6days before next service! me nah bizness pagan dem so continue taking ya problems to the chapel(your kingdom of god)

        • Nicki says:

Fail. I don’t go to church or do any of those things but I’m not up here resiting the bible for why I can’t function in reality and need to smoke weed. Since we are assuming I bet you have 4 kids, 3 baby mamas and aren’t married, don’t have a job or actively involved in said 4 kids lives, don’t know who your father is. Have daddy issues because of it and basically a bad citizen. See how easy that was to do?

          • Nicki says:

Your ebonics is rubbing off on me *reciting

            • Reality says:

LMAWO…I’m a Strong Black African Woman…get it right. AND DON’T FORGET WHO STARTED MAKING ASSUMPTIONS! I’m jus here making a comment about a Natural Herb and there u go making assumptions about church and carrying a spliff there. Some Bermudian ‘GIRLS’ make me HOLLER

  5. Terry says:

    “Psalm 104:14″.

Love that quote. Thats why I am a “cattle” man.

Since the world is going green and the cuts of “cattle” are so great, I recomend the ‘Green Horn Cut’. This is a mild version of ‘Spliff Steak’, which is good but not as fiberous as high-end cut from the ‘annus/cannabitus’ area.

    • sandgrownan says:

    • SMH says:

I can’t believe some of you people think that this is funny.

      1. Look at what WEED/Marijuana/HERB is doing to our young community.
      a. Their focus is on gettin high

      • SMH says:

        b. They can’t read or write
        c. They can’t get a job
        d. They are killing each other over the money or the herb.

Wake up people ok maybe it is a plant but I don’t see anyone rolling up hibiscus plants. Come on you guys we have to really wake up. Then you want to blame the white people, the government. WE NEED TO BLAME OURSELVES. We have failed our youth. We don’t give them chances to become who they could become because most of the older generation is either; getting high, looking to get high or trying to figure out a way to bring in drugs to sell. If marijuana isn’t a drug then why does it get you high. Anything you use to get high is considered a drug.
Start teaching our children to read, write and focus on life instead of laughing when a 2 year old has his pants dropped to the ground and cursing. STOP SETTING OUR YOUTH UP FOR FAILURE.
Get them in Sunday school, spend time with them, read to them, teach them the way inorder for them to have a decent life.

        SIGNED: FRUSTRATED

        May God be with you!

        • Bermudian at heart says:

In all honestly my belief is that weed is not the cause of all our problems in Bermuda. I honestly believe that because it is an illegal substance that most of these young trouble makers partake in that it has been labelled in a negative light. Alcohol, on the other hand, is never labelled as the cause to our country’s problems, even though most of these troublemakers drink just as much as they smoke (or do any other forms of drugs) and say that alcohol made them commit certain crimes before our judges. How many people live productive lives and still smoke weed. I know many of elders that do, but no-one would ever know. The only problem I see with weed is that it fuels a population that demoralizes our country, by it being illegal. Just to add that most drug dealers cannot survive off of just selling weed because the profit, which is made, is not as lucrative as other forms of drugs and the risks is higher. The only thing is that weed is more in demand due to Bermuda having more weed smokers than any other illegal drugs. But the end result is that weed isn’t in as much of a demand as alcohol. My conclusion is that the underlying problem is Bermudians are trying to self medicate themselves for whateva reasons.

          • CanadianLuv says:

            CO- SIGN!
Legalize it & regulate it. It would be a win-win situation
The government can tax it and get their cut and it would clean up the streets!

        • bothered says:

a.i have a high school diploma graduated top of my class from saltus grammar school
b.i have a associates from the bda college as well as bachelors from kingston upon thames university in england
c.i am a very successful young woman

When abusing a drug that is called addiction. I myself smoke. I was raised well have my life together and am i very happy woman. I believe that regardless if smoking or not it can and cannot effect ones mind. Whether or not if it is abused. And as for church and things in that nature that has nothing to do with making a person sane or in their right mind everyone has faults and to tell you the truth the worst people are the ones who are in church. I have a decent life and my father wasn’t a big part in my life as well. But speak for some people not all.
          May God be with you!

      • LOL (original) says:

  7. DM says:

can we first change their names they are so stereotypical.. second they are idiots for trying to move stuff on this island and third weed is not that bad but as such a conservative island things are quick to change. stuck in one setting secures some sort of safety yet hinders any progression.
