Seven Reported Burglaries Yesterday
There were seven burglaries yesterday, with a quantity of electronics, jewelry and cash stolen.
A Police spokesman said, “There were 7 reported burglaries on Monday, March 7th 2011 – two in Sandys parish and one each in Warwick, Paget, Pembroke, Smith’s parish and Hamilton parish. Overall a quantity of electronics, jewelry and cash was taken.”
“The Bermuda Police Service continues to advise the public to remain vigilant regarding burglaries by making sure windows and doors are locked before leaving their homes unattended, even for short periods of time. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious vehicles, activities or individuals in their neighbourhoods to Police on 295-0011.”
