Videos: Upcoming Bacardi Golf Champs

Yesterday [Mar 24], the Fairmont Southampton and Bacardi International announced the Bacardi National Par-3 Championship, a two-day, 36-hole championship golf tournament to be played at The Fairmont Southampton March 26-27, 2011. The annual tournament, now in its second year, benefits Bermuda Red Cross.

The Bacardi National Par-3 Championship is open to amateur and professional golfers and is sanctioned by the Bermuda Golf Association (BGA) and the Professional Golfers’ Association of Bermuda (BPGA). A Professional Men’s and Ladies’ Division and an Amateur Men’s and Ladies’ Division will be played.

In this second year, we expect the tournament to grow over last year, with both local and international participants.”

Last year’s professional winners – Men’s National Par 3 Champion Daniel Augustus will return to defend his title. As a Bermuda Golf Association and Professional Golfers’ Association of Bermuda-sanctioned event, tournament players will receive national qualifications points.
