Cycle Accident: North Shore Road

At approximately 11:20am today [Apr.11], emergency services responded to an accident on North Shore Road just east of Flatts.

It appears that a single bike was involved in an accident. Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel attended to an injured man until an ambulance arrived. EMTs attended to the man who appeared to have sustained injuries to his arm before taking him to King Edward Memorial Hospital. Travel was delayed slightly as traffic was reduced to a single lane flow. The accident scene has been cleared and traffic is now flowing normally.
