Wolves To Host Good Friday Event At Elliot

Wolves Sports Club along with Loyal Hill Association will be having a community funday this Good Friday at the Elliot Primary School.

This will be an all day event beggining with a morning service and codfish breakfast at 7:30am. Pastor Eldridge Burrows will be holding a worship service to kick off the event and remind guest of the reason for this holiday. The codfish breakfast following is sure to energize guest for a long and fun filled day.

At 9:00am a six aside football tournament will add a competitive edge to the days events, 6 teams will be competing for the coveted Vince Minors cup in a Round Robin Format.

After the tournament the remainder of the day will be filled with fun activities for all ages. Segway rides will give a new experience to many with this state of the art technology. Fun Castles, marbles, cards and dominoes are other activities at the event. There will be an Easter basket making station as well as an Easter egg hunt. Football, cricket, and fun races will add a sporting edge to the day. A kite competition will judge the biggest, smallest and most original kite. The canteen will provide drinks, fishcakes & hot cross buns, baked goods, hamburgers and hotdogs.

The organizers have extended an invitation to the entire community to come out and have a fun filled day at Elliot School Field from 7:30 am-5:00pm.
