As windy conditions affected the rest of the field, it came down to only one boat remaining in the Annual Edward Cross West End Sailboat Comet Race, which sees the island’s sailors race from Somerset to St George’s. Yesterday morning [June 19] the Bermuda Bicycle Association [BBA] held the RMS Construction Road Race Championship beginning and ending at Southside. Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd. announced today [June 20] it has successfully placed a new catastrophe bond, Loma Reinsurance Capital Limited Series 2011-1, which will provide $100 million of protection against the multiple occurrence of certain named perils. Alleged Burglar Hospitalized After Break-In
[Updated] A 33-year-old man is hospitalized after he gained entry into a home in the Middle Town area and was confronted by a male occupant early this morning [June 20]. Causeway Crash Victim To Be Airlifted Out
One of the gentlemen involved in the accident last night [June 19] on Blue Hole Hill will be airlifted to Massachusetts for further medical attention this afternoon.
