One Injured In St. David’s Accident
[Updated] Shortly after 10:00pm this evening [June 27], emergency services responded to an accident in St. David’s. Personnel from both the Bermuda Fire Service and Police Service tended to the rider of a bike, which we understand to be the only vehicle involved. Minor Accident on Woodlands Road
At approximately 6:45pm this evening [June 27] there was an accident at the junction outside BAA on Woodlands Road. It appears a bike collided with an SUV, and although an ambulance was present, we unofficially understand no one sustained any serious injuries. 39 Arrests: Outstanding Warrants & DUI
This past weekend [June 25/26] 39 people were arrested for either suspicion of drunk driving or outstanding warrants. Boat Diverts: Crew Member Injures Eye
This past Saturday [June 25], Bermuda radio received a report from the agents acting for the 78,918 gross ton M/T Cosmic advising she was diverting to Bermuda to disembark a 51-year-old second engineer who had suffered an injury to his left eye. Police Seize Gun, Arrest 22-Yr-Old Man

Police Rescue Two Mariners From Sunken Boat
Earlier today [June 27] the Police Marine Unit rescued a couple from on top the submerged vessel after their 13’ vessel fishing began taking on water. A Police spokesman said, “At 2:20pm on Monday, police received a 911 call regarding a sinking boat. Bermuda Radio was immediately alerted and sent out a message to all area vessels to assist....
