Fairmont To Open New Resort Golf Shop

bermuda Farimont Southampton Par 3 Golf CourseThe Fairmont Southampton will be officially opening their new Resort Golf Shop this Saturday [June 18]. The new Resort Golf Shop has more than doubled its size and will feature new collections of the top golf equipment and clothing in the industry.

Fairmont Southampton’s Director of Golf Anthony Mocklow said, “The opening of our new Resort Golf Shop is yet another milestone in our goal and overall vision to reenergize golf at the Resort.”

“The Fairmont Southampton’s investment and commitment to Golf in Bermuda includes new destination golf packaging, new product such as The Bacardi National Par 3 Tournament, Night Golf, and a new Food and Beverage offer with Bacci open daily from noon to 4:00 p.m.”

“In addition, we have expanded our team to include a number of new colleagues, all of whom are outstanding in their areas of expertise from Golf Pro and Superintendent to Arborist, and Horticulturist. When combined with The Bermuda Department of Tourism’s commitment to Golf in Bermuda with the PGA Grand Slam, and their many golf initiatives, it is a very exciting time.”

Mr. Mocklow added, “Since 2009 we have been focused on giving our course a complete “facelift”, pruning trees, restructuring the roughs and beautifying the off play areas. The new Resort Golf Shop represents a substantial investment for our visitors and local guests to enjoy. It is our mission to provide a beautiful, challenging and fun environment for golfers from all over the world.”

Drawing from apparel lines such as Adidas, Fairway & Greene, Tommy Bahama, Pukka Headwear, EP Pro, Annika, Cutter & Buck, the Fairmont Southampton Resort Golf Shop will also offer Golf Hardware brands such Titleist, Taylor Made as well as, Scotty Cameron Putters and Vokey Wedges.

    i love playing golf at the Southampton princess however I hope they don’t increase their fees to pay for the new golf shop! $85 for a par 54 course is already quite a premium!
