Local Artist Propa Goes ‘Super Bad’

propa bermuda rap artist by fotogenikBermudian artist Propa pumps up the volume with his newest dance hit ”Super Bad.” Born in Jacksonville, Florida but raised in Bermuda, Propa — real name Jamel Thomas, has been rapping for nearly a decade attracting a huge following local and abroad with his R&B/ Hip – Hop flavored music.

Speaking about his newest video “Super Bad,” he tells of the story about a beautiful female who walks in the club demanding attention of those there.

Directed by Dertrimental and shot at the Moon Night Club, the video features The Bermuda Squad along with The A-Team dancers as well as introducing Sherika Parfitt as the leading female for Super Bad. ”She [Sherika] surely was a vital aspect of the music video. When she first arrived on the set, she was a little stiff, but after a while the true diva came out of her,” Propa talks on her role.

”The shoot went super good. There was a lot of positive fun energy through out and everyone was really jelling well together.” says Propa who plans to premier the video in two weeks.

Propa recently made noise in the industry over his latest video, “Together, Forever,” and also contributed to Ride the Wave, Volume Two – a the double-CD of Bermudian music which proceeds donate to charity.
