Photos & Video: ISL Football Arsenal vs Union
This past weekend [June 25/26] the Island Soccer League [ISL] hosted two days of fast paced football at the National Stadium.
The final game on Saturday saw the Arsenal dominate the Union 13-5. Cecoy Robinson and Ralph Bean each scored four goals for Arsenal. The Union played without starting GK Treadwell Gibbons who was suspended for one game.
The Union’s Dennis Russell scored his 1st goal of the season. Russell was the 2009 Lindo’s ISL leading scorer but played just one game last year. Arsenal GK’s Jason Smith and Daniel Adams shared time in goal for Head Coach John Barry Nusum.
Lindo’s ISL action resumes this coming Thursday [June 30] with Ace Insurance Blue Division action. The Knights take on the Storm at 7:30 and the Titans battle the Apex at 8:45 pm.
