  1. Bermudian says:

    Proud to be Portuguese!!!!

  2. d reader says:

proud to know and have portuguese friends

  3. Spectator says:

As a Portuguese resident of Bermuda, I am proud that there are still those who celebrate these events and uphold the rich Portuguese tradition. Our story is deeply ingrained in the history of Bermuda and it’s a pleasure to still be part of the Bermudian community today.

    • Cinderella says:

Its too bad they would not teach Portuguese in our schools, especially since it has been our second language for years. All of us should be able to speak 3 languages here.

      • Spectator says:

It’s difficult to introduce a foreign language program into the schools, we have enough difficulty teaching English!

And Portuguese may not be the most appropriate language. I prefer students choosing the language they want to learn and be allocated class time for personalized language learning a.k.a Rosetta Stone but a more affordable/still effective price.

It is however impressive when students in countries like Denmark and Switzerland know multiple languages.

  4. Liars says:

dont worry, soon Bermudians will be kicking up cause you guys didnt ask for permission from the governent for these entertainers.

    • Spectator says:

YAWN! Pointless comment, just enjoy the coverage without being so negative.

    • Rich says:

The event was organised by the Government.
