Police Seek Witnesses To Diving Accident

admiralty-house-ambulance-july-2011-300x252The Bermuda Police would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident yesterday [July 2] at Admiralty House Park Beach, which left a 40-year-old man in critical condition with serious head and neck injuries.

As Bernews reported yesterday afternoon, first responders attended an incident that took place at Admiralty House Park Beach area at 5:37pm after a 40 year old man was jumping off the rocks into the water when he was knocked unconscious.

He was pulled to the beach by family members and an off duty EMT, and a nurse began to perform CPR.

They managed to get the 40 year old man breathing however he remained unconscious and the pair continued CPR until the paramedics arrived . The victim was taken to KEMH were he is listed in critical condition with serious head and neck injuries.

There were dozens of people in attendance as a gathering was taking place at the time, and anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to please contact Police on 295-0011.

    Any news on how the gentleman is doing? Prayed for him this morning, I sincerely hope he makes a full recovery…

      Unfortunately he is seriously injured….head/neck injuries….listed as critical in ICU.

        This is so sad. Unfortunately, while this is such a fun time of the year, it’s also a time when we see tragedies of this nature. I pray that this man will pull through without any lasting injuries or damage.

      God is going to help this person.! Further more, sitting home and praying is not going to help the situation either. Going to the hospital and giving him flowers will do far more good than praying.
