Western Counties: Willow Cuts Win by 1
Western Counties continued yesterday [July 9] with Willow Cuts facing Somerset Bridge at Somerset Cricket Club Field.
Willow Cuts won the toss and elected to bat before finding themselves bowled all out for 155. Deunte Darrell was the top scorer with 40 while Sheroy Fubler added 27 and Dexter Basden chipped in with 21.
Derek Hill was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 2-0-8-2 while Shaun Riley bowled 5-0-28-2, Donnie Charles bowled 7-2-31-2 and Clarence Trott bowled 10-1-32-2.
In reply Somerset Bridge were bowled all out for 154. Tristan Smith was the top scorer with 32 and Trott was on 31 not out when the last wicket fell with Bilal Lambert adding 23 to the total.
Kevin Fubler had bowling figures of 10-5-10-3 for Willow Cuts, while Antonio Darrell bowled 4-0-29-2.
