Women’s Hockey Team Competing In Brazil

The Bermuda Women’s National Field Hockey Team departed Bermuda to compete in the Pan American Challenge Cup in Brazil which started today [July 30].

The Bermuda Women’s Team consist of LaKae Dill (Captain), goalkeepers Latonia Fray and Candace DeSilva; defenders Marcia Ford, Heather Sinclair, Kirsten Faria, Kristen Rego and Jasmine Patterson; midfielders Liz (Elizabeth) Stewart, Keishae Robinson, Iman Smith and Jennifer Chisnall; forwards Ryanne Bardgett, Erica Furtado, Raven Pearman, Alex Francis and Yvonna Osborne. They will be accompanied by Tracy Stewart (manager), Lisete Moniz (assistant manager), Paul Deans (coach) and Dafydd Hermann-Smith (technical director).

The Pan American Challenge 2011 that will take place at the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from today to 07 of August 2011.

Bermuda will take on the host Brazil on the 31st, before taking on Uruguay on August 1st. Bermuda will next see action against Guyana on August 3rd, before taking on Paraguay on August 4th.
