18-Yr-Old Injured After Bike/Car Collision

Yesterday [Aug.16] a teenager was injured after his bike was involved in an accident with a car at the junction of Middle Road and Keith Hall Road, Warwick. He was transported to the hospital via ambulance, and his injuries are not considered to be serious.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:15pm on Tuesday August 16, Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision at the junction of Middle Road and Keith Hall Road, Warwick.”

“It appears that an auxiliary cycle and a car were travelling along Middle Road when they collided. The rider of the cycle, an 18 year old Paget man, was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital via ambulance.”

“His injuries are not considered to be serious. The driver of the car, a 42 year old Sandys man, was not injured. Motorists were diverted away from the area while Traffic Collision Investigators examined the scene.”

“Enquiries into this incident are underway. Anyone with information can contact the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.”
