HWP Partners With Rayclan: Paint & Body Shop

August 16, 2011

daniel greenslade jonathan brewinOne week after the fire that destroyed HWP Group’s Paint & Body Shop on St. John’s Road, management and staff have worked hard to get the business back up and running in order to serve their customers.

Whilst the sales and mechanical services departments have been able to get back to work, the body shop and all its equipment was destroyed and unable to reopen, therefore HWP have been in talks with Rayclan to provide drivers of all HWP brand vehicles an alternative solution for Paint & Body Shop repairs.

Jonathan Brewin, President & CEO, HWP Group said, “We are pleased to announce this preferred provider partnership with Rayclan, which will offer our customers a solution for any body and collision services that we are no longer able to undertake.”

“We have enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with the Ray family and are delighted that we have been able to pull together at this difficult time. We are really focused on our customers right now and this was the most logical solution.”

Daniel Greenslade, Owner/Operator, Rayclan Limited said, “We are already working with HWP on completing existing jobs, and will be working closely with the their mechanical services team on jobs that require both mechanical work and body work so that the customer gets a swift and seamless service. We are pleased to be able to help HWP at this difficult time and look forward to working together.”

Customers that require bodywork only are encouraged to call Rayclan directly, whereas if there is both bodywork and mechanical work to be done, then HWP will produce an estimate for customers and liaise with Rayclan.

The decision has been made to extend opening hours in the Automotive Cycle Sales departments from Wednesday 17th August for a trial period of 2 months, and HWP will now be open until 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Jonathan Brewin commented, “In an already difficult economy and with an event such as the fire, we have to pull out all the stops to serve our customers, send out the message that we are open for business and moreover keep our teams busy. We hope that by extending our opening hours, we are making working with us more convenient for customers.”

Customers and the public can contact the HWP customer service hotline at 295-5000. For Body & Paint work, Rayclan can be contacted directly on 292 8383.
