Video: Injured Man Arrives Via Navy Helicopter

Earlier this afternoon [Aug. 3] a military helicopter touched down at Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport, in order to transfer an injured man to a waiting ambulance. The sailor and helicopter arrived from a U.S. warship that is located to the north of Bermuda.

At approximately 3:50pm the helicopter arrived at the airport where it was met by an fire truck and an ambulance. A 24-year-old American sailor was flown to the island for medical care. The sailor and helicopter arrived from a U.S. warship that is located to the north of Bermuda.

After transferring the sailor, the helicopter left the airport at approximately 4:10pm. The ambulance left shortly thereafter followed by a police car.
