Emergency Services responded to an accident near West Pembroke School on Monday morning [Oct.17], in which a car and van collided. Traffic flow was delayed as the road was completely blocked as police investigated the accident scene.
A Police spokesperson said, “At 7:30am on Monday October 17th, police responded to a report of a collision on North Shore Road, Pembroke near West Pembroke School between two cars and a truck. It appears that the three vehicles were travelling along North Shore Road when they collided.”
“The driver of one of the cars, a 34 year old Pembroke man and the driver of the truck, a 60 year old Pembroke man were conveyed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. Their injuries are not life threatening.”
“The other car driver, a 54 year old Pembroke woman was uninjured. All three vehicles were damaged. An investigation into this incident is underway.”
