Two Arrested After Teens Stabbed

Two men in their 30s were arrested after two 17-year-old teenagers were stabbed last night [Oct.19] in the Warwick area.

A police spokesperson said, “At 9:30pm on Wednesday October 19th police responded to an incident in the Spicery Road, Warwick area. Details are unclear at this time; however two 17 year old men were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment of stab wounds.”

“One of the victims was later released while the other remains in hospital. At last check he was in the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition.”

“Two men, a 35 year old and a 31 year old, have been arrested in connection with this incident. Officers conducted inquiries at the scene and collected forensic evidence for examination.”

“Any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit on 234-1010.”
