Fletcher & Blackburn Break Records

December 2, 2011

Bermudian swimmers Julian Fletcher, Roy-Allan Burch and Lisa Blackburn are competing as guests at the USA Winter National Swim Championships in Atlanta.

40-year-old Lisa Blackburn finished the 100m breaststroke in a time of 1:13.21, and was able to lower her own national record set at this summer’s CCCAN Championships by 2 hundredths of a second.

Fletcher finished 41st while setting a personal best and a new Bermuda National Record of 1:03.97 in the Men 100 LC Meter Breaststroke. His time shattered the record set by Chris Flook in 1993.
