Miss Thang’s Christmas Giving

Hundreds of people will be receiving Christmas gifts this year thanks to the generosity of the community, and a drive spearheaded by radio personality Kristy “Miss Thang” Burgess and the Phenomenal Women’s Association, who distributed presents to the families on their Annual Christmas Wish List at HOTT 1075 yesterday [Dec.23].

Miss Thang and the Phenomenal Women’s Association have been working tirelessly during the last three months to secure sponsorship and donations to purchase gifts for individuals on their Christmas Wish List, which originally started at 200 – and crept up to 300. This is their fifth year of giving back to those in need within our community.

Miss Thang said, “On behalf of the Phenomenal Women’s Association and myself I would like to take this time to thank everyone for supporting this wishlist. This was the hardest year yet, and today we are able to bless at least 300 families and children alike.”

“I would also like to thank all the anonymous sponsors, donors, family, friends – everyone that has supported this endeavour. I am so thankful, and if it wasn’t for you, I would not be able to do this.”
