Netball Youth League Results
On Saturday [Dec.17] youth teams of the Bermuda Netball League met up at Bernard’s Park, with Danielle Onyia the high scorer of the day with 41 goals for Signworx.
Under 12 Division
The Netts Green got 16 goals from Nyumi Tear and 5 goals from Nabiillah Nasir as they defeated the Colts Warriors 21 – 12. Delia Ebbin and Zahria Furbert scored six goals each for the Colts Warriors.
The YMSC Baby Bluebirds defeated the Cougar Cubs 15 – 6. Kylah Hunt scored four goals, while Jahlika Berkeley and Tanzania Thomas scored a goal each for the Cougar Cubs, while the YMSC Baby Bluebirds got four goals from both Tamera Simmons and Krishay Tucker, while Ashunti Crockwell, Zekiah Lewis and Kessiah Jackson all scored two goals each and Tanzania Bean scored once.
The Netts Whites defeated the NVCC Lady Rams 25 – 10. Teyah Lindo scored 15 goals and Inshanae Smith added 10 for the Netts Whites, while the NVCC Lady Rams got 6 goals from Drew Bascome and four goals from Brianna Swainson.
Under 14 Division
The NVCC Lady Rams went down 19 – 13 to the YMSC Young’uns. Jordyn Morris scored 9 goals for the Lady Rams, who also got two goals apiece from Deja Harvey and Indira Swan, while the Young’uns had Imani Smith score 10 goals and 5 goals for Demiqua Daniels and 4 goals from Satashie Rogers.
The Nu-Art Superstarz defeated Data Tech 24 – 10. Sondae Woods-Bell scored 17 goals to lead the Superstarz to victory, they also got 5 goals from T’James Branch and 2 goals from Shondenae Woods-Bell.
Under 16 Division
The Signworx defeated the YMSC Jr Bluebirds 47 – 7. Danielle Onyia scored 41 goals for Signworx, they also got 3 goals from Jasmyn Renfroe and 2 goals from Amali Smith, while Keizhari Knight scored 4 goals for the Jr Bluebirds, while Charlae Simons scored twice and Attiyaa Boyles scored once.
