Rider Leaves Scene After Collision

A motorcycle rider left the scene of an accident after colliding with another bike in Devonshire this past weekend.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 8:30am on Saturday December 10, Police responded to a collision between two motorcycles at the junction of Watlington Road East and Green Acres Road in Devonshire.

“It appears that both vehicles were travelling along Watlington Road East when they collided at the junction with Green Acres Road.

“One of the riders, a 34 year old Devonshire woman sustained injuries. She was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later released.

“It appears that the other motorcycle left the scene after the collision. The other rider is believed to be a black male wearing dark coloured clothing riding a black motorcycle.

“Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact PC Odessa Philip on 295-0011.”

    A bit late but glad this has finally been posted. The lady in question will be months before she has anything close to normal use of her leg not to mention she will be scarred for life.

    Hopefully someone who saw or has knowledge of who this Id**t is will come forward with information. Remember it could be you or your child that this piece of Tr*sh leaves in the Road next time.
