College To Hold Winter Commencement

Bermuda College President Dr. Duranda Greene announced that the College will be holding its first Winter Commencement in ten years to celebrate the academic success of 20 students who have attained either associate degree, diploma or certificate qualifications.

A winter commencement is scheduled when the number of students successfully completing their programme requirements in December exceeds 15.

The Winter Commencement will be held Thursday, January 26 at 4pm in the North Hall Lecture Theatre. Both the Minister of Education Dame Jennifer Smith and Bermuda College Board Chairman Walton Brown are expected to be in attendance.

Bermuda College will close at 3:30 to allow faculty and staff to attend. Evening classes are scheduled to be held as normal.
