Football: First & Premier Division Results

A number of football games took place this past weekend [Jan 14/15] across the island, the results follow below.

Young Men Social Club 0 Wolves 2

At the Bernard Park, Wolves got two early strikes to defeat Young Men Social Club 2 – 0. Marcus Ming opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Sergio Richardson doubled the lead in the 15th minute.

Devonshire Colts 0 Flanagan’s Onions 1

After a scoreless first half at Police Field, Phil Matthews scored the lone goal of the game for visiting Flanagan’s Onions as they defeated the Devonshire Colts 1 – 0.

BAA 3 Hamilton Parish 1

At the BAA Field, Vance Hill gave the home team BAA the lead in the 14th minute, Niedel Swan equalized for Hamilton Parish in the 37th minute, Diego McCallan restored the BAA lead when he found the back of the net in the 61st minute and then Willie Clemens scored for BAA in the 87th minute to make the final score 3 – 1.

Ireland Rangers 1 X’Roads 4

Marvin Belboda gave visiting X’Roads the lead in the 21st minute, Kao Astwood doubled the lead in the 34th minute. Rico Beek found the back of the net in the 40th minute to give the visitors a 3 – 0 lead, before Ryan Simons pulled a goal back for Ireland Rangers, but Daniel Baker restored the X’Roads three goal lead as they defeated Ireland Rangers 4 – 1.

Paget Lions 0 Prospect United 4

At the White Hill Field, visiting Prospect United defeated the Paget Lions 4 – 0. The visitors got two goals from Shaki Swan and single strikes from Dennis Joell and Kyjuan Saltus in their win.

PHC Zebras 1 St. David’s 1

At the Southampton Oval, the PHC Zebras and St. David’s played to a 1 – 1 draw. Shakir Smith gave PHC Zebras the lead in the 12th minute, however St. David’s got the equalizer when Fiqre Crockwell converted from the penalty spot in the 36th minute.

Dandy Town Hornets 3 St. George’s Colts 2

At St. John’s Field, the visiting St. George’s Colts took the lead in the 24th minute when Jahron Dickinson found the back of the net, Angelo Simmons equalized for the home team Dandy Town Hornets in the 39th minute. Raymond Beach gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 52nd minute, he then doubled the lead in the 82nd minute, Gregory Wade pulled a goal back for the St. George’s Colts in the 87th minute and with no further goals the Dandy Town Hornets took sole possession of first place in the Division.

North Village Rams 5 Boulevard Blazers 0

Kofi Dill gave the North Village Rams the lead in the 17th minute over the Boulevard Blazers. Ralph Bean Jr. doubled the lead nine minutes later, Bean Jr. found the back of the net for the second time in the match in the 35th minute to make the score 3 – 0. Jason Lee gave the North Village Rams a 4 – 0 lead when he found the back of the net in the 49th minute and Vernon Tankard closed out the scoring for the North Village Rams in the 76th minute.
