  1. Family Man says:

What shame she’s too busy jetting off for another vacation in the islands to hold a meeting of the Public Accounts Committee.

Ah well, its party time ….

    • Bryan says:

      Yep!

      • Yup says:

Another waste of money. How is this doing “more for less”? How much money will this do nothing “conference” cost us? PLP are out of touch with what is going with families here in Bda. I bet for the cost of this conference govt could paint one of their schools!

  2. Victor says:

And yet again we the taxpayers get stiffed for the another gratuitous PLP jaunt…IN the meantime, the country falls apart around us.

    • Rubbish says:

Are you all really complaining about the premier attending a regional meeting of an organisation we are a part of.

Seriously? Is this what we’ve come to now, complaining about everything.

Oh yes, better she stay home so Bermuda is not represented. Needless to say that they are discussing UK Air Passenger duty which would mean cheaper flights from teh UK to Bermuda, but no…. stay here in Bermuda. We’re not part of the world, there is no such thing as globalisation, stay here in Bermuda.

      You all are full stupid!

      • Yup says:

And what would happen if Cog just stayed home??? You are full of it!!!!

  3. sharky says:

    Rome is burning….

  4. LaVerne Furbert says:

You people make me laugh. Just the other day you were all down in front of the Cabinet Office with your placards, calling for Dr. Brown’s head and asking for Paula Cox to take over as Premier of Bermuda. Dr. Brown is gone, we now have Premier Paula Cox, and now you’re calling for head.

Are you no longer “Proud to be Bermudians”?

    • Proud to be Bermudian says:

LaVerne, There’s an old saying that patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when they deserve it.

      • jt says:

Whenever you hear a man speak of his love for his country, it is a sign that he expects to be paid for it.

    • jt says:

Not particularly Ms. Furbert. Hopefully some pride can be regained within the next year or two.

    • Rick Rock says:

I never asked for Paula Cox to take over anything.

    • Truth says:

Mrs.Furbert don’t pay the Milk Man’s supporters any attention. In the end the PLP will win. The UBP/OBA is crying over spilled milk. Blame the economy and crime on the PLP. Whatever! The same cry babies I guess don’t look @ the 7:30pm USA news.

Maybe we can fix the crime and push for a Max Prison instead of sending these criminals to Hotel West Gate, but the economy will not turn around until Uncle Sam gets out of the wheel chair.

      • Shaking the Head says:

Enjoy whatever free benefits you are receiving from the PLP because the bill is about to be given to you in the Budget, and after the Election when the PLP wins. It won’t be pretty. You may of course be fortunate and be a member of the BIU so you can obtain a return of all those dues you have paid to them in the form of unemployment benefits. Just don’t expect too much though. By the way, Uncle Sam won’t help, nor will a worldwide recovery because any positive benefit to Bermuda won’t be felt for at least 5 years. This is the calm before the storm.

        • Real Deal says:

          @ Shaking the Head

Your another $$a clown preaching false profits. You must be relative of the Milkman.

          • Real Deal says:

            sh%t Shaker A$s

            • Shaking the Head says:

Wow, what with posters like you and Truth, and the official PLP website, name calling and profanities are certainly becoming the norm for the PLP paranoid. I’ll let the facts and figures speak for themsleves. Notice Retail Sales down again? Notice more job losses? That all means less revenue for the Government, and because they won’t reduce expenditure means more taxes for Bermudians. Prove me wrong.

              • Joe Public says:

At this point in time I haven’t decided which party I’m voting for.

                a) The OBA is a new party who haven’t released a plan and they keep barking about the economy. The same economic problems are happening in other parts of the World. This song is getting really old with the undecided voters trust me on that.

                b) The PLP promise so much to us voters, but have failed to unite the blacks and whites. I’m really getting tired of this issue, again this happens all over the World. As a voter I want more plus the crime in Bermuda is out of control. Fix it!

It will come down on who do I trust to deliver us from where we are to where we should be.

    • pebblebeach says:

Heck no Ms Furbert…I never asked for a Paula Cox to take over….and yes we want her head as it was during her control as Finance Minister the country’s debt spirelled out into Cog-Land

In any event, the best thing she did for Bermuda was to remove you Ms Laverne Furbert from the Senate and for that we as a country will be forever grateful….

    • Victor says:

Ms. Furbert, I remember Ross Perot getting chastised for using the term “You People”. Just who are you referring to when you use it?

  5. bda for life says:

    Oh laverne shut up please!!

    • jah says:

Laverne Furbert is everything that is wrong with Bermuda……she has no credibility and shouldn’t be taken seriously…she loves to talk about how people should respect her yet comments like “you people” is indeed disrespect….grow up lady!!!

      • Terry says:

Some are still lost in the 60′s-70′s. They take the hate to their graves after they watch most being lowered.

        • Rockfish #2 says:

          @ Terry,
The Defender’s/8 votes ramblings are now taking a different tone.
Maybe certain things are beginning to take their toll.
As soon as a FINAL decision is made on the customs duty issue, a few of us will present her with the rocking chair.(A budget has to be prepared)
Incidently, the knitting needles and wool have been purchased already.

  6. LaVerne Furbert says:

As the song says “There’s no denying, These are not our best days, So many things gone wrong, It seems we’ve lost our way, But for us this is not how the story ends. The PLP has braved rough seas before, And we’ll do it again and win the next election.. Truth is there are more of us and a strength that is at the core of us, a kindness that still shines through the tough times, together we in the PLP will overcome and rise above anything, including the bile that is posted on this web site on a daily basis. PLP All the Way, All the Way PLP!!

    • Cedar Beams (Original) says:

You should know LV. You actually do post bile on a daily basis. And by the way, I was at the Cabinet that day. What most of us wanted was Brown out and somebody responsible to take over. We got one out of two. I personally don’t care which party Governs Bermuda as long as they do actually Govern. Your PLP aren’t up to the task and prove it week after week. PLP will get voted in again only if enough stupid, uneducated, uninformed people vote for for them. This is not something you should be proud of and you know it.

      • Not nice says:

You must be talking about all the black men and women on this island. Since we are the majority who voted PLP. Yes I said it because whites vote for the UBP/OBA and blacks vote PLP. Nice to know that’s what a OBA supporter thinks about the blacks on this island. I’ll remember to bring this up. OBA leaders you will lose the next election and it will be your supporters that kill that extra 15% of the black vote you need to win. Just wait and see.

        • sandgrownan says:

Because it’s all about which race is “on top” isn’t it. You utter utter moron.

          • Not nice says:

I guess your white. Then again with all the stuff you write about the PLP it just proves how much you hate the black man. In the end you still need us blacks to win.

            • Sandgrownan says:

That’s pretty stupid. The PLP win, Bermuda loses.

        • Gillian says:

@not nice – YOU and only YOU have mentioned race! I’m a black woman and I do not recognise @ cedar Beams description because it could relate to ANY race. Grown up! Using the race card is unacceptable

    • No placards here says:

Those people you love to keep reminding us of waving their placards begging for the installmant of P Cox as Premier either ..
      a) Knew that ERB HAD to go , and go soon.
      b) Were dumb enough to think that the PLP government actually has anyone left in their ranks to lead this island forward and out of his mess were in with in interest in all. Without attitude and obfuscation , but with profound intelligence and sincerety.

Now just how deep really is that ‘talent pool’ ?

    • Notorious says:

      As the song says:

“I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind. There was something so pleasant about that place”….

      (Gnarls Barkley-Crazy)

    • sandgrownan says:

Shouldn’t it be Bermuda all the way, All the way Bermuda? Oh, Princess, you give away too much.

And that’s the fundamental, core issue. The PLP is focused on the PLP, not Bermuda. The last 13 or so years have been about the PLP. In their largesse and their incompetence, many in the PLP and many affiliated to the PLP have done very well. Bermuda, meanwhile, has been the hapless victim.

I had to snort with incredulity at the comment about kindness! Nastiness has been a hallmark of the PLP in power.

    • Terry says:

      “bile”.?

    • jt says:

Braved rough seas, but have not navigated anywhere. No map, no compass.

    • True says:

“The PLP has braved rough seas before”

True, but you hadn’t destroyed the economy before.

    • DJL says:

Laverne Furbert, Did you remix that song? Because as far as I’m concerned, That song has been the BEST THING (person, idea, words etc) that Bermuda has produced in a long time. I mean, come on, 90% of you sitting in your high hors have disappointed us. The other 10% we just dont trust because of all the lies and self gain. Do you see how you just inserted your own WORDS in the song? Well thats how you all operate. You do what you like because you are allowed. You insert whatever ‘wording’ you want into everything. Clearly when you listen to the song you hear the words of Bermudaians hurting, Bermudians calling to some together to better this PARADISE.

Oh and one more thing…BERMUDA IS DYING FROM PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

      • Cleancut says:

Col. Burch and Brown did most of the damage, and one of them may return. Our IB residents may not be willing to go another round!!!

    • Redman says:

Wow Mrs. Furbert how pathetic are yo? Quoting a song that you publicly refused to support and purchase (your right) despite the fact that this song was intended to be NON Political and was about bringing Bermudians together, also shame on you as you spoke for education in the Senate and all proceeds where going to support teachers, you are a disgrace. Else for you inserting the PLP into the lyric well that just says everything about you, especially as it was just that original verse that you disliked the most.

Well if you have so many followers how is it that despite you not ‘endorsing’ Proud To Be Bermudian it was and still has been a hit and popular song played at many events. I guess that says it all about the ‘following’ that you have, how’d that make you feel? LOL

Well seeing as you are used to inserting your feet into your mouth I guess your’e used to it now. Just remember this, PTBB speaks to and reminds us of all the things that are good about Bermuda and Bermudians as a people. Not the Bitterness, intolerance and recrimination that you exemplify.

    • bda for life says:

Laverne take your head out of your a!!

  7. Hmmmmm says:

I bet you…if the Governor was on this trip with her it would be ok. Guess its not enough that she’s meeting with the British. You all are hilarious.

    • Redman says:

Not if he went with her and they both stayed there. lol

    • LOL (original) says:

Why complain about things we can’t control? To a degree we have some say in who reps us in Government.

      LOL

  8. Rockfish #2 says:

While on the subject, who else is attending at the taxpayers expense? Normally that information is part and parcel of the press releases. Why and when did that cease?
@ The Defender/8 votes- “You people”?
    Really?

  9. LaVerne Furbert says:

It’s not picture perfect, but it’s still paradise. Filled with children’s hopes and seasoned ivory smiles. So let’s help and heal and speak with one voice ‘til each one understands that our wealth is so much more than blue skies and pink sand. Let all be proud to be Bermudian!!

    • sandgrownan says:

      Too late for that Princess.

      • Redman says:

        Mrs. Furbert,

Give it a rest if this is really you that is. PTBB is about bringing people together, You however are Not!!

If it is you when did you purchase a copy? Yeah Right!!

    • LOL (original) says:

Ahhhhhhhh you kill me “8 vote” truely I ………………………….

      LOL all over the place.

  10. King Jammys fan says:

Larry and John gave you the solutions Paula! Why waste the air fare? Or can you not wait to wear another embarrassing hat!? Well safe journey!

  11. Wrong says:

Nobody asked for Dr.Browns head that’s just your take on it again twisting with a negative attitude.

    • LaVerne Furbert says:

I know you don’t want to copy and paste the whole speech delivered by Janice Battersbee, do you?

I was there. I heard the speech and I have a copy of it. I also saw the placards calling for Paula Cox to replace Dr. Brown.

Maybe I’ll ask ZBM to run their news clip so that you can see it in full colour.

The same things that “you all” used to say about Premier Brown prior to his retirement from politics, you’re now saying ahout Premier Cox.

But as C.V. “Jim” Woolrridge said “those little white boys don’t mind you being in charge as long as they can tell you what to do – “The House That Jack Built” by the Hon. C.V. (Jim) Woolridge.

      • Boom says:

        Wow, clutching at straws.

      • sandgrownan says:

That’s pretty ignorant. Essentially, for you, it’s still all about race. Wow. You are too stupid for words.

        • Not nice says:

It’s always about race, you know it and we know it.

          • Sandgrownan says:

Well you’ve confirmed one thing, that you’ll put race and party before country. Bermudians..the friendliest people on earth.

      • Redman says:

Just go to You Tube, have a look at who has a face like Thunder and who looks likely to Lynch anyone, yep it’s Mrs. furbert alright. That was a great speech by Mrs. Battersbee as well, right to the point. Lets see now …. bad trees don’t bear good fruit …. how true.

By the way the reason Premiere Cox is taking a beating today is because she is having to take ownership of her and the PLP Govts poor stewardship of Bermuda and their dismal record particularly their handling of the Bermuda economy, and not just from OBA supporters or PLP ‘haters’ either. It is coming across the entire Bermuda spectrum colour, social, age, political no matter what you would like to have us believe Mrs. Furbert.

Here’s a news flash for you as well Sir David Gibbons, Sir John Swan, Dr. Saul etc… and probably all of our other leaders/MP’s had to take some bumps too. Why should it be different for the PLP? Dr. Brown took licks so what? it is the same for all Govts around the world not just the PLP. Interestingly Dr. Brown used to blame “… people who didn’t want me there” for the stick he and the PLP Govt took. Funny thing though he finally alienated so many people that even those that ‘wanted him there eventually didn’t want him there. Go Figure.

  12. Wrong says:

Proud to be Bermudaian does not mean to blindly follow and not use your brain! Eat those apples!

  13. Wrong says:

anything to prove anyone wanted the honorable Dr.Browns head would be interesting and while we are at it there was nothing In there about lynching either that came from a poison mouth . Democratic folk from all walks demonstration Brown must go ! That’s it . Twisting and spinning has to be learnt no one is born with it. Run that in ” full colour” and the whole speech .

    • LOL (original) says:

Besides if the place cards stated they wanted his head they would have been tracked down and arrested like the guy who Fed off Brown.

LOL lock us all up indeed.

  14. Death to Party Politics says:

I look forward to the day when being loyal to your country doesn’t equate to being loyal to the party in the position of Government.

  15. mixitup says:

I’m a little late to this PLP bashing party…. Part of the job of a Premier is traveling and representing our Island when it matters.

    • sandgrownan says:

Unfortunately, this trip is taken in the context of waste and overspending. While this trip may have merit, that’s lost in the noise. The PLP have only themselves to blame.

  16. Stevens says:

Okay…it’s PLP bashing time on Bernews….yep you’re 100% right…the Premier should have stayed home…in fact, neither she or any Govt minister take trips of any sort to participate in international events like this of any sort…Bermuda, after all, is the center of the Universe, right? The world revolves around us, right? In fact we should be getting them to host that forum right here…in Bermuda..+Dollars for the local economy, right? Even though we are not in the Caribbean. Problem solved? Don’t mention that it is prohibitively expensive to host events here in Bermuda, among other things.

    • sandgrownan says:

The PLP ought to be ridiculed, treated with contempt and “bashed” at every opportunity for the absolute disaster they have been as a government.

      • Hmmmmm says:

Brilliant election strategy. Now all you need is some candidates. Add a pinch of bullseye adverts and you’re good to go.

  17. navin johnson says:

few would mind if the Premier attended a function but most realize she is there as part of an entourage of people …at the same time Marc Bean and 5 other staff are at the KPMG sustainable development conference in Miami for 4 days…this is the same conference that was held on 5 months ago in September and no doubt attended by 6 other people who may have been part of the entourage of the then Minister of the Environment…..so we have a dozen or so people having a 4 day blast in Miami on a subject that they no nothing about for if we were really interested in sustainable development we would not have a PLP Government unless they were interested in developing homes for former leaders in Martha’sVineyard, New York City, Miami the Bahama’s, oh well….

  18. confused.. says:

I am really confused here. Since Bermuda only has associate membership in CARICM
why spend all that money just to go and keep a seat warm? Please LaVernr, tell us how is this going to impact on CARICOM’s Members relationship with Bermuda whose doors are closed to free trade and movement? Just asking.

  19. Cancer says:

Who wudda thought Lady Cox wud have been been just as bad as Dr Brown? Wudda lost my money!

    • Mkuu wa wezi says:

Please do not call The Hon. Premier “LADY” She will never accept an honour from the British oppressors like Dr. Eva Hudson and others did.

      • Navin Johnson says:

She would be first in line just like Lois Brown

  20. Words to remember says:

From a black member of the UBP, might I add he was at the top.

As C.V. “Jim” Woolrridge said “those little white boys don’t mind you being in charge as long as they can tell you what to do – “The House That Jack Built” by the Hon. C.V. (Jim) Woolridge.

    • LOL (original) says:

So if we keep that in it’s context he was talking about a minority of white “men” as we’ve gone threw how the term boys was used to degrade. This is hardly the proof that all white men and by extension the white race is towards black but her in a haters mind anything that jibs with their core beliefs must be so eh.

LOL people say allot of nasty things when they feel hurt just look at the political rhetoric we have in today’s times.

  21. Cancer says:

I wonder why we use Honorable this and Honorable that in Bermuda? Premier Cox then…

  22. specialgirl4you says:

All countries should be present at this meeting. Go on Premier Cox and do what must be done to ensure that the business of this country is done effectively. This meeting will be attended by any current government of the day, whether it is the UBP/OBA or PLP. This is an extremely important meeting, and Bermuda must be physically present at the table to ensure that our “voice” is heard. It does not require any explanation as to why any country would not be present at this meeting. The physical present at some meeting are a must and require no debate. Many meetings are not as effective if one is not in the room, face to face. In several instances, seldom is a country taken serious if there is no one in the room to represent the country’s position or ideas. When any one specifically looks for information in printed and electronic sources, we have an idea what we’ll find or read. Anyone can also read a printed document from a country. But not necessary grasp the full understanding of it, unless it is presented verbally, and opportunity for questions and answers allows for clarity. However, when we discuss something with a number of other people, they sometimes bring new perspectives to the question we’re asking. We determined that interaction with other humans at the conference-and elsewhere-was invaluable. The human interaction of discussing these issues, however, makes them clearer and gives us a variety of new ideas that we don’t necessarily receive by merely looking for information in non-human resources or written reports. The message is clearly delivered, and no one leaves with the wrong interpretation of what recommended. Good meetings are important for collective decision-making, planning and follow-up, accountability, democracy, and other practices that will help to build a good working together of countries, the general political directions and priorities. It is most important specifically in the “formal ratification of important documents” and “involvement. So all governments must spent money to attend conferences overseas from time to time. This is not new, and governments have been engaging in this practice for years. Larger countries do it every day, even during this economic recession, business of a country does not stop, just because we are facing a recession. “Talk and meetings become even more important during these difficult times, and travel a must”.

  23. Cleancut says:

“Sustainable Growth towards Prosperity” The theme for this meeting. We are sending the wrong person down to this meeting. It should be Col. Burch, Maybe Cox can contact Dr.Brown for some pointers regarding this subject.

  24. A Caricom Person says:

Good afternoon, I have read the comments, and while not Bermie, I have serious interests in your country. I can appreciate the views for and against your Premier’s attendance to the conference. I would like to share with you the following aspects, which may help all decide if you are getting value for your money.

It is against a backdrop of global economic recession that this conference is being held. We all appreciate that Bermuda, due to its unique economic foundation, will be severely rocked by the impending collapse of other, greater economies.

The micro-economy in the Caribbean Community, while not 100% shockproof, is self-sustaining to a large degree. The inclusion of Bermuda as an associate member means that when (not if) we eat, so will Bermuda, and preferably at similar cost, and not at exorbitant prices.

Bermuda has a unique cultural heritage. I have visited your country twice. It would fit into mine 71.5 times, but I would come to you over and again, because it is a beautiful place. It is very important that you take full advantage of the associate membership, for we are brothers and sisters across the waters. Do not think that Uncle Sam and Aunt Lizzie will gladly keep you when their own children are crying out for bread. The kids come first, we’re next (maybe).

While I do not doubt anyone’s political ambitions, please, I beg of you, put them aside, seek your country’s survival. You do not have much time. See Greece, they will default shortly. Italy, Spain, Ireland, Portugal next. Eastern Europe follows. France and Germany will lock up like a dry engine. Japan has seen negative growth in the last few quarters. Your primary income earners will shrink. Nothing you do can change that. It is out of your hands. Link with us, and let us help you survive. Any positive response to this post will be answered with ways and means to open a lifeline NOW.

    Live long and prosper.

    • Cleancut says:

      @Caricom Person,

Our country was “surviving” just fine, until a few of our peoples “political Ambitions” “i beg of you” keep out of something you know nothing about.

We do hope to see you back in Bermuda!

      • A Caricom Person says:

Not any time soon, my friend. I do not wish to be caught there when the crash comes. You take care, I will only speak of what I know. Do the same.

  25. Cancer says:

@caricom – I welcome your input on this matter and your information is very valuable. We are in the midst of an upcoming election so things are very tense here. Some believe we are where we are because of bad governance – others believe it’s because of the world reccession. Anyone with any common sense knows it’s a combination of both but in reality it’s time for a change of governing in Bermuda. I for one believe that solidly. Among many many many others! Once that happens Bermuda will be a more peaceful and even better place.

    • A Caricom Person says:

@cleancut: Fare thee well, friend. You have been warned. I appreciate the electoral scene. I speak to people at the grassroots level, not the pols. My concern is for the Joe and Jane Onion who will go to Lindo’s and see prices double, but not know how and when it happened, for it will happen literally overnight.

@Cancer: I agree, either causative factor is bad, the combo is a knockout. The bottom line is survival. The election is a distraction, the powers are powerless, because they cannot do anything they are not allowed to do.

The wise know that elections and governments come and go, but only those who live unhooked from the virtual reality (created to keep us quiet while those in control stay in control) will see and learn enough to survive where others will die.

Like many of your countrymen, most of mine thought the world revolved around them. The shock of the 70′s – 80′s disabused them of that notion quickly.

It is why we need to focus on what it will take to survive the coming crash, and not buy in to the fallacy that one administration can make a material difference to things. It is like changing the man at the rudder of a boat going over a waterfall. The only way to survive is to not be on the boat. I hope that this coming shock does not kill us all.

  26. specialgirl4you says:

@Cancer speak for yourself, you never really know what others are thinking. Anyone can tell you anything, but their actions may in fact be different. PLP are the government that will and are leading Bermuda. Deal with it! As we did under the long-term leadership of the UBP/OBA………………The OBA/UBP will be faced with the same economic environment, it will be difficult no matter who the government is. OBA/UBP do not have a magic wand to change things around no matter what.

Specialgirl the leadership under the Cog has been a disaster! I know it – you know it and everyone else knows it. It’s just that people like you and the rest of the PLP loyalists want to cling onto power. Well you had the power and you messed the country up. Its never been worse! Under Brown it was a disaster and under the Cog it’s even more of a disaster. The PLP have taken this country to financial ruins and are asking everyone else how to go about fixing it cuz they don’t have a damm clue! Well we gave PLP a chance and many people have taken their blinders off besides people like you specialgirl who will defend PLP to the very end no matter how much they mess this country up. So there you go I not only speak for myself I speak for the majority of Bermuda! Once again you need to take those blinders off girl cuz you certainly are “the great defender” no2! I just can’t wait till the auditors generals report is released! I know what’s in it so wait and see but of course your TGD2

@caricom again thanks for your input. It’s good to have experienced outsiders give an opinion. I believe people/parties should be given a chance. It then comes a time where people/govts become comfortable and think and believe they deserve to be there no matter what – and then there are those that wud defend them to the very end no matter what… Mistake after mistake – issue after issue. So the people are tired – the country is bankrupt under the PLP. So there comes a time when change is needed – too many people think “they have that right” Change is needed now… And if change doesn’t work – we change again!!!

Jack was a great man. I think if an airport can be renamed after a politician who never held ministerial office, perhaps Front St can be renamed after the man whose foresight created so much of this country’s wealth – Sir. Henry Tucker Street.

p.s. I’ve really had it with third tier PLP wannabe intellectuals rewriting history to suit whatever this week’s propaganda happens to be; that’s you Laverne. Perhaps it’s time “You All” cut the rhetoric came downtown to see what it takes to make a real buck (and create real jobs for real people).

@ Cancer “Stop the Spin, and more Spin”…………. You know that PLP did nothing of the sort. You continue to spew out the “political strategic plan” of OBA/UBP, in an attempt to suggest that the PLP has done doing positive for Bermuda. You are a “Blind follower” of the OBA/UBP and are not willing to be objective and view anything via a different pair of lens. You do not need to call anyone a “Great Defender,” as you defend the OBA/UBP more than anyone else. So the name appears to apply more to you, than anyone else. Be careful how you label people as you may be talking about yourself. There are many “Great Defenders,” as persons often support one political party or another. But to resort to name calling suggest that your argument is extremely weak, and you are not able to defend it. It also supports the theory that you are also incapable of debating, as your stuck in a time zone which is UBP/OBA and in your eyes they are the Queen and answer to all Bermuda’s challenges.

PLP have done many good things for Bermuda, like all governments they have their strengths and weakness, but to suggest they are not a strong government is weak. You also are being disingenuous in stating the PLP have destroy Bermuda. If that were true, why are you still living here, and many others as well? It can not be all that bad? As you are unaware, there are several contributing factors that impact upon Bermuda, I will not list them all now, as your eyes and mind is closed to facts. But I will say, unlike the UBP/OBA the “PLP” work in the best interest of all Bermudians.

Come back with more Spin Spin Spin………………….

@special – I so look forward to debating your contradictions. You say “But to resort to name calling suggest that your argument is extremely weak, and you are not able to defend it. It” but it is that, that you and the PLP are so
famous for – namecalling- do I need to remind you? “doomsday bob! OBA/UBP! Puppet on a string! Among other degrading names! So there you go! You haven’t heard anyone within the OBA membership degrade anyone within the PLP in the open pulic. I call you TGD2 because all you do along with TGD1 is defend defend defend this government to the very end! Learn to say we messed up once and awhile … You’ll get more respect which you know I’ve said repeatedly!
