Full Results: 2012 Telford Mile Races

Scores of parents and children alike turned out this afternoon [Feb.25] for the 2012 Telford Electric Magic Mile Races held at the National Sports Center in Devonshire. The popular annual event is open to children from ages 4 and up, and always sees a huge turnout.

Makaylie Smith and Kari Virgil won the Girls 4-year-old races, while Daqaio Stewart, Sebastian Smith and Sebastian Pukk won the Boys 4-year-old races. Shemya Deshields and I’Aura Golding won the Girls 5-year-old races, with Rajae Whitter, Zano Tucker and Keiaron Bean winning the Boys 5-year-old races.

In the 6-year-old division, Regy Destani Smith and Elan Daley won the Girls races, while Zakao Hart, Aiden Kendall and Brazil Robinson won the Boys races. Tesyah-Mahle’ Astwood, Jade Johnston and Satasia Swann won the Girls 7-year-old races, and Deniche’ Hill, Josiah King and David Blankendal won the Boys 7-year-old races.

There were 75 entrants in the Girls 8/9-year-old races, with Selah Tuzo picking up the victory, while Ryan Outerbridge won the Boys 8/9-year-old races – a division which saw 96 young competitors.

Azaria Robinson won the Girls 10-12-year-old division, with Aaron Jacobs winning the Boys age group. In the 13-15 year old division, Zakiyyah Showers was the top female and Dariel Reges was the top male. A video/photo gallery of the event will be posted tomorrow.

    Bernews I believe you have some of the names wrong. My daughter’s number was 608 in the 6 year old category.
