HSBC BBFS Community Action Day

HSBC in partnership with Bermuda’s Brazilian Football School [BBFS] hosted approximately 80 student athletes and their football coaches at the HSBC BBFS Community Action Day held at Cooper’s Island last Friday [Feb.17].

Following the success of the HSBC BBFS College Festival, students took on the programme’s life skills’ component and were further educated on the importance of protecting Bermuda’s most natural resources and preserving our island’s eco-systems.

The students braved the weather and worked diligently on removing invasive plants and replanting endemic plants as part of HSBC’s continuous effort to restore Cooper’s Island back to its natural state.
