Two Suspects Deny Murder Charges

Two suspects – including a 16-year-old boy – denied charges of murder in yesterday’s [Feb.1] Supreme Court session.

16-year-old Rashaun Codrington pleaded not guilty to the charge of murdering 18-year-old Malcolm Outerbridge on 28 October 2011 in Warwick. A trial date was set for June 2012, and Mr Codrington was remanded into custody.

In addition, 54-year-old Norris Simpson denied murdering 66-year-old social worker Ida James in September 2011. His trial date was set for August 2012, and he was also remanded into custody.
