BEPRO To Host Business Lunch & Learn
Bermuda’s Emerging Professionals [BEPRO] will be hosting an upcoming Lunch and Learn entitled “Jump Start Your Business- Tips from the Pros” on Thursday, March 22nd from 12-1pm at the Chamber of Commerce.
BEPRO is extremely excited to present guest speakers, Kerry Judd of New Beginnings Inc., Kumi Bradshaw of Firm Advisory Ltd, Alexandra Mosher of Alexandra Mosher Studio Jewellery, and small business advisor Jamillah Lodge from the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation. This seminar will be free for members and $10 for non-members.
This Lunch and Learn will focus primarily on how to get your business off the ground, what to expect in being your own boss and the various steps that you need to be aware of before starting on the entrepreneurial path.
The distinguished panel of speakers are all successful entrepreneurs, and/or experienced business advisors, whose trials and tribulations will be priceless for those looking to start their own business on the island.
Kerry Judd, Owner of New Beginnings Inc., has over 12 years of experience within the provisions of marketing, communication and organizational strategy; both locally and internationally.
Kumi Bradshaw CBA, BVAL , President of Firm Advisory Ltd., serves on the Accreditation Board of the Institute of Business Appraisers as well as the Editorial Board of Business Appraisal Practice. His company, Firm Advisory Ltd, is a provider of business valuation, business brokerage and advisory services. In the summer of 2010, the first edition of Mr. Bradshaw’s book, Show Me the Money! Understanding the Value of Your Business, was published.
Alexandra Mosher, owner of Alexandra Mosher Studio Jewellery, is no stranger to BEPRO having previously served on the Board of Directors. Ms Mosher studied jewellery design, wax carving and fabrication at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, The JCC Manhattan and Wolf Studios in Maine. She launched her jewellery line in 2005; and today has clients in Bermuda, America, Canada and Europe.
Jamillah Lodge, Business Development Officer at the Bermuda Economic Development Corporation, is our business advisory expert. She is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, graduating with a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing. In her duties at BEDC, Ms. Lodge is responsible for providing clients with business development advice and loan guarantee assistance.
In addition, she manages the BEDC marketing and communications plan and is currently involved in the development of a mentorship and youth entrepreneurship programme.
