It was being driven and the driver lost control and turned it over. You make it sound as though it was the cars fault!

Excuse me I am the driver and my political standing has NOTHING to do with my driving. So please keep you childish and not needed comments to yourself. THANK YOU and HAVE A NICE DAY.

Hard call on that one. There is also a wall involved. Could be either of them. Maybe the two opened a joint parking school and this is a student of their parking school.

Cars park by themselves these days……..and some seem to drive by themselves on these Bermuda roads…..

  10. Triangle Drifter says:

Dang….must be some serious front brakes on that thing. Slam brakes, car stands on it nose, onto it roof & slides into a beauty salon for a little wax job.

Had to be the cars fault. You just know the driver is not at fault.

    • Driver says:

Ok first of all I am the driver and im not saying it was not my fault, so before you say anything please. I fish tailed going the corner and spun around twice and hit the sidewalk and flipped. So before you say anything and that goes to EVERYONE that posted stupid and childish comments about my accident, please know what you are talking about first!!!!! ….. This was truly an accident to the truest form of an accident as I was not drinking or drunk, texting or calling, speeding or smoking I simply lost control of my car coming around that corner.

  13. Ignorant Bermudians says:

It is ridiculous how people can sit at their computer or on their mobile device and make such IGNORANT comments. I can guarantee that if this was YOUR family member you would save your comments. It is a shame that I live on an island where people have become so desensitized to things that are going on be it a shooting, death, rape, or serious vehicle accidents. I pray this doesn’t happen to any of you peoples family members. I hope they can continue to function on their own while my family member struggles to do so. Thanks for the kind comments. greatly appreciated.

  14. J says:

I don’t see how one can make such a serious matter into a joke?

    You people need lives.

  15. VJ says:

It never ceases to amaze me how some people find humour in bad things that happen to other people. Like you said, I hope that nothing happens to them or their family…I bet that would wipe the smirk off their faces real quick. I have to wonder how many of these people are foreigners….I pray my fellow Bermudians are above that!!! Keep laughing…there is something called karma!!!

  16. Its funny because says:

Ok, its not necessarily funny per say, but in the absence of a sudden medical emergency to said driver who I would assume is had been deemed fit, safe, and licensed to be in operation of a motorized vehicle, outside of oil on a wet road or some other unexpected AND sudden road condition there’s zero reasons other then inattention(be it speeding, on the phone, under the influence, or simply not paying attention) for the car to be on its roof inside a building. There’s no losing control of the vehicle, the driver wasn’t in proper care, caution and control of the vehicle in the first place – this same logic applies to every “accident” where the driver suddenly “loses” control of the vehicle.

    • Driver says:

EXCUSE ME! I am said driver that you are talking about that you are telling me what happen while I was driving my car when you were either in your bed or sitting off somewhere ( o sorry does that sound ignorant). You were not in my car with me and thank God no one was. I have no clue what happen, I did lose control. I was not speeding ( as I have lost a dear friend to that corner), I was not texting or on my phone! I was not smoking or drunk or singing loudly to music that I had playing, I WAS ON MY WAY TO WORK PEOPLE. So like I said to everyone on this site, you need to know the story first before you assume stuff, because I’m sure some one has told you what ‘assume’ means right. And it is not funny as I am in my hospital bed in serious pain and I have to learn to do things all over again, so like i said stop assuming stuff

      • Its funny because says:

Ok so explain how your car ended up upside down inside a building then…
Did it randomly gain a mind of its own or something?
35kmh is hardly enough to flip a road worthly vehicle no matter how hard your jerk the wheel.

  17. Errin Butterfield says:

How can people be so uncaring for someones saftey its a real shame.I hope the person/people involved in this unfortunate accident are safe for the rest of you ignorant childish folk using this as an opportunity to try and down people and/or make a joke to get your cheap thrills I guess the saying is true that small things amaze small minds

  18. Crazy says:

It’s one a week now more car crashes than bike accidents what’s goin on?

    • The lady is a dear friend of mine, and she was on her way to work. She was also driving with care. She is also in bad shape with a long time of healing so think b4 u make un caring remarks please. Thank you

  19. Lady Jayne says:

I live by where this accident occured and hear every vehicle that drives by on that corner. 7 mins before the car flipped a bike slid out on that corner but was able 2 get back up and move on. The rider came down 2 see what had happend because he heard it from his house 2 and he was not speeding. Also one of the police cars coming 2 respond fish tailed as he was turning 2 PARK!!! It had not rained yet and there was no oil or sand or gravel on the road either. So you can in fact be paying full attention and caution and get into an ACCIDENT!!!! I called the ambulance and when I walked over 2 see if the occupant(s) were ok was devastated 2 see it was my cousin. So all you small minded un caring people think b4 u make ur remarks because karma is truly a b***h!!!!!!

    • Finally left! says:

With all due respect… you’re saying it did not rain, there was no oil or sand/gravel on the road, yet a bike slid out, your cousin lost control and flipped, and a cop car fishtailed while trying to park??

When living in somerset i drove that corner multiple times over many years without incident… not saying you are lying, but i am very confused at how your description of events can be remotely true.

  20. JMC says:

Okay, so sad to read so many uninformed, ignorant comments. To all the negative people out there, nope, no drinking involved, was on her way to work! Before you are so quick to put someone down that is seriously injured, get your facts straight! PLEASE! What’s happenned to Bermudians!?!I am a Bermudian, living overseas and am embarrased by my fellow islander comments! God sees and watches all! This is my sister that you are all so quick to pass judgment on! I can tell you that so many of the comments previously written are ridiculous! Truely disheartening to know that when someone is down, in unimaginable pain with a long road to go for hopefully full recovery that you are so quick with your nasty words!

  21. Second says:

So sorry L! Hope you get the business up and running real soon.

Hope the driver was not injured!

  22. Driver says:

I am the driver of this car and I am in the hospital and YES I am on the computer it is very boring in here! I am truly sorry to the owner of the business, I spoke to her father yesterday and told him to tell her how sorry I was. I have a long road of recovery ahead of me and I am in serious pain. I was on my way to work so no I was not drunk or had been drinking, I was not speeding ( as I lost a dear friend on that very same corner)I was not on my phone calling or texting or bb’n I was not smoking a cig or dancing or singing to music that was playing I was simply driving my car to work! I lost control and fish tailed and spun around which I have been told twice and flipped my car. It was to most horrible experience I have ever been lived through and I hope NONE OF YOU SMALL MINDED CHILDISH people that posted comments on this story will ever have to live through or have a close family member or friend live through this. I cant believe I live on an Island that prides itself on being a friendly and supportive, and reading these comments throws all that out the window ( well to some not all Bermudians )It is disgusting and horrible that you few people can fine a joke and find it funny and laugh at someone else pain. Please get the full story before you make such small minded and childish comments> Thank you

    • Dear Driver,
