Hiscox Strengthens UK APC Division

Bermuda-based specialist insurer Hiscox has strengthened its UK Art and Private Client division [APC] with the promotions of Steve Morse to Head of Motor and Matthew Webb to Head of UK Motor Underwriting.

In addition, Clare Limond has been appointed to the role of motor underwriter, joining motor underwriter Tom Wilcox to complete the new team.

As Head of Motor, Steve Morse will take on overall responsibility for Hiscox’s high value motor line, working closely with brokers to identify areas of growth and developing opportunities through schemes and MGA channels.

Mr. Morse has over twenty years’ experience in the insurance industry, with the last seven years at Hiscox as a senior development underwriter in APC in Birmingham and London.

In his role as Head of UK Motor Underwriting, Matthew Webb will focus on pricing and risk strategy.

With over 14 years’ experience in insurance, he has spent the last four years underwriting high net worth motor at Hiscox.

Clare Limond has also joined Hiscox as motor underwriter, bringing a wealth of motor experience with her from previous roles at RSA and Aviva.
